These are our onetime laying hens that have given good service in the egg department. Once standard fare in grandmother’s kitchen, a stewing hen is used to produce the most flavorful stocks, delicious dumplings, and fabulous fricasses.

All our cuts are bone-in to provide you with the most nutritions products possible. Roasts, steaks, chops, and poultry with bones and a small amount of naturally occurring fat are whole foods and provide the most flavor and nutrition.

Grass-fed animals heal the environment. Fewer fossil fuels are used in their production. Grass-fed animals are happier and healthier. They are less stressed, more disease resistant, and have more freedom than their conventionally farmed counterparts.
Grass-fed meats are healthier. They contain more Omega-3 Fatty Acids, cancer-fighting Conjugated Linoleic Acids (CLA) and antioxidant vitamins. Grass-fed meats are less likely to carry virulent E.coli 0157:H7 than conventionally raised animals.
